An Economy That Works for Everyone

We need to grow the economy from the middle out — not the top down. That means investing in local jobs, workforce training, and the industries that drive our region: agriculture, trades, small business, healthcare, and manufacturing.

I will work to expand trade programs in high schools and community colleges. Invest in rural infrastructure like broadband, roads, and clean water. Support family farms and protect them from foreign land grabs. Encourage job growth by rewarding companies that invest and hire locally. Protecting the rights of those to organize and bargain for fair wages.

Illinois should be a place where young people can stay, raise a family, and find opportunity — not a place they feel they have to leave. Let’s build a future we can all be proud of.
